Dear Surveyors and Colleagues,
You are invited to our upcoming meeting of the Southwestern Chapter of the PLSC. We are pleased to announce that Bob Green from Frontier Precision will provide a presentation "The 2025 Peaking of Solar Cycle 25 on the GNSS Surveyor."
Bob's presentation will cover the history of solar cycles, their impact on the ionosphere, and the implications for GNSS signals. He will also discuss the latest GNSS receiver mitigation technology, including Trimble IonoGuard, and will showcase GNSS Ionospheric testing conducted in Anchorage, Alaska earlier this year as proof of concept.
This event will be a catered gathering with light snacks provided for attendees. Cocktails will be available for purchase at the bar, but please note that these will not be covered by the Chapter. A regular Chapter business meeting will follow the presentation.
