SEVEN PILLARS OF SURVEYING:
The seven pillars of surveying represent a foundational framework that guides land surveyors' professional conduct and methodologies. These principles are designed to ensure accuracy, reliability, and ethical practice in determining property boundaries. However, strict adherence to these principles can sometimes lead to a rigid approach that may not account for unique or conflicting evidence that arises during a survey. Surveyors must balance the application of these principles with a critical analysis of all available data. This approach allows for adapting standard practices to accommodate new findings, ensuring that the final boundary survey is accurate and reflects the true conditions on the ground.
