SWPLSC Meeting
9/12/2023
The Southwestern Chapter of the PLSC (SWPLSC) will hold our regularly scheduled
meeting next Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 5:30pm.

We will be going over regular Chapter business and hopefully will have nominations
for the soon to be vacant President and Secretary positions. If you are interested
In serving as an Officer in the SWPLSC, please contact me. Minutes from our meeting 
on June 20th, 2023 and draft agenda will be sent next week.

The meeting will be held in-person and virtually.

CCPS General Meeting - Personal Safety
9/21/2023
Our meeting will be located at Hixon Manufacturing (Surveying Supply)
located at 7154 S Dillon Ct, Englewood, CO 80112 Food and adult beverages
will be provided.
The dinner will start at 6:00 pm with the meeting beginning at 6:30
 
The topic of this meeting will be Personal Safety in our day to day lives. 
We are encouraging our members to bring your spouse or significant other to
this meeting.
 
Our speaker will be Mike Pope.
 
Mike was a federal law enforcement special agent for 27 years, most of that
time with the DEA.  He also was a CIA officer for 7 years, where he
specialized in counter-terrorism.  He was a federal firearms and tactics
instructor for 25 years, including 6 years as the head instructor for this
region of the DEA.  His last position was the director of agent training for
a federal Inspector General agency.
 
Topics Covered: Personal security/safety when out of the house, including
incident prevention, what to do if assaulted, defensive weapons, Colorado
use of force laws, and what to do after using deadly force.
