Join us for an engaging evening at Creative Locale - our CCPS home - on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, 5:30-8:30 pm, for a presentation discussing Metro Districts and the Land Surveyor’s Role.
We will have on hand Kristi Pollard, Executive Director of the Metro District Education Coalition, who will guide us through all things Metro Districts, including:
What is a metro district?
Why do we have metro districts?
How are they formed and funded?
What is the surveyor’s role in describing district boundaries?
District types i.e. Financial, O&M
What is a CAB and how do they work?
